About Me

Growing up in a suburb of New York City, Judaism was a central part of my upbringing.

From an early age, I was exposed to many Jewish communities: Reform, Reconstructionist, Conservative and Modern Orthodox.

I felt welcome in each of these spaces and cultivated a love for varied Jewish experiences. I grew up knowing there isn’t one way to be Jewish.

For the past 10 years I have been coordinating a B’nai Mitzvah mentorship program, mentoring students privately and officiating at their services. Families consistently praise my passion for helping learners find their unique points of relevance within Jewish tradition. I have taught numerous Hebrew School grades, led tot Shabbat services, coordinated youth programming for an annual retreat in Palm Springs, and officiated a number of weddings and funerals. I led non-denominational High Holiday services for over 500 people in Los Angeles, and have worked as a cantorial soloist.

While completing an undergraduate degree at Boston University, I spent nine months in Israel, participating in a semester at Tel Aviv University, taking daily Ulpan Hebrew lessons, and interning at Habima National Theatre. In 2022, I earned a Master’s of Jewish Education from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

In addition to being a Jewish educator and ritual officiant, I am an actor. I’ve performed in both Hebrew and English, and am an Artist-in-Residence with The Braid, a theatre company committed to sharing Jewish stories.
